Marcia Mauskopf, CPP is a storyteller with a gift
for making images that convey the feelings and emotions that are such an
important part of the wedding celebration. As a full-time professional,
she understands that each couple is uniquely different and takes the time
needed to create images as individual as your family. She offers personal
consultation to create portraits that reflect your tastes. Marcia's images
are enjoyed all over the world, shared by families of the couples she has
photographed.
Marcia is a PPA (Professional Photographers of America)
Certified Photographer. Certification is your assurance of quality. All
PPA Certified Photographers must pass rigorous examination of their technical
skills, artistry and business ethics. Moreover, they must participate in
the continuing education program of the Professional Photographers of America
and periodically submit their work for critical evaluation to maintain their
certification. Through her commitment to the art of photography, Marcia
continually upgrades her skills by regular study with the top professionals
in the photographic industry. Marcia was recently honored by Professional
Photographers of California with the Photographic Business and Arts degree,
an award given to those who complete 300 hours of academic study in the
Photographic field.
Marcia has won awards for her photography at local,
regional and national levels. Her images have been selected for exhibition
in California, Oregon, and Nevada as well as international exhibition.

Access: Santa Ynez Valley is easily reached via Highway 101, exiting
at the Solvang/Buellton and going east on Highway 246; or from Santa Barbara
via Highway 154, providing a scenic mountain route.
Transportation: The two major airports that serve the Santa Ynez
Valley are the Santa Barbara Airport, 25 miles south and the Santa Maria
Airport, 35 miles north. Private aircraft can fly into the nearby Santa
Ynez Airport. A daily north/south bus service arrives in Buellton. The Santa
Ynez Valley Transit has a daily schedule throughout the valley and can be
called for a specific pickup time. AMTRAK trains are made available with
bus service to Santa Barbara.
Climate: Noted world-wide for its beautiful weather the sun shines
approximately 340 days a year. Annual rainfall is usually 12 inches. The
average temperature ranges from 76°F to 54°F.
Restaurants -- Food lovers love the Santa Ynez Valley. They adore
the pastries, cookies and breads prepared in our Danish community of Solvang.
But visitors can also choose from a wide variety of restaurants preparing
traditional American and ethnic cuisine.
Wineries -- Santa Ynez Valley produces some of the finest premium
wines in the world. From modest beginnings less than three decades ago,
the Santa Barbara County wine industry is now comprised of 9,500 acres of
vineyards and 34 wineries. The Santa Ynez Valley is home to 23 of these
wineries. The region is known especially for its outstanding Chardonnay
and Pinot Noir, but also produces fine Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah,
Cabernet Sauvignon and many other varietals.
